Taking a Break

On Sunday we went to the river park area where we normally pick up litter. But this time we took canvas chairs and sat under a tree to read books. We did that all afternoon. We were tempted to pick up litter, but we didn't do it.

Sometimes a person just has to rest.

Of course, the very next day I went to our neighborhood park and picked up litter. It was post Easter litter, so there were undiscovered plastic eggs lying about, and one contained twenty-five cents in pennies and nickels. Sweet!
